Returns
Returns are accepted within 7 days of receiving your purchase. You must contact us first before deciding to return your purchase. If the item is damaged or not as described, the return shipping will be paid by us. If you are merely unhappy or do not want the item any longer, you must pay the return shipping, and your order will not be refunded until we have the item, and see it is in the same condition as you received it.

Certain items are non refundable, such as custom dog figurines. Items that have specific return policies are thoroughly described in the detailed description of the product.

Shipping
90% of our orders are shipped out within 24 hours, but please allow 24-48 hours for your item to ship. You will receive an email confirming that your order has shipped. We do not ship on Saturday and Sunday.

We offer three types of shipping options: 

    1. Orders weighing under 13 ounces can be shipped using USPS first class mail (2-5 days transit time). This is the least expensive shipping option, which helps save you money on shipping costs!

    2. The second option is USPS priority mail (2-3 days transit time). Priority shipping can be chosen for any order.

    3. The last option is USPS express mail, which is considered overnight shipping, but can take up to 2 days, depending on when the order is shipped out.

All orders have combined shipping. If you order one item that is 1 lb. and another item that is 5 ounces, both items are put in the same package and shipped to you for the 1lb 5 ounce weight.

Payments Accepted
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept paypal, e-checks, money orders, google checkout and amazon payments as well.
Sales Tax
Everyone making a purchase from Massachusetts will be charged a 6.25% sales tax during checkout.

At The Dog Lover Store, every order placed is a chance for us to prove to our customers how devoted we are to serving them. Many companies have products "drop shipped", which means they sell the item on their website and then they call the manufacturer to have the item shipped to you! For example, when you place an order with xyz.com, the manufacturer ships the item to you, rather than xyz.com, which is where you purchased the product. This creates a longer hold on your order, which means it takes longer for you to receive your item. It also means the customer service department knows less about the product and can't answer your questions because they don't have the product in hand.

We may not always have every breed in stock for every product, but this is because we make it our goal to own all the products we list on our website. This helps ensure faster shipping, great customer service, and detailed information on every product you are interested in. We refuse to sell something that we don't believe in so we make sure to examine the quality and detailing of all the products.
